This is a fantastic fantasy film from reputed director and dance director A Harsha. It is commendable support from producer Jayanna and Bhogendra made this film possible. The second half filled with fantasy is in Hollywood standards and A Harsha has grown heaps and bounds from constructing this film with a high degree of skill. The first half of the film is filled with usual drama but the elevation to the film comes from the second half fantasy aspects.
The extremely good special effects, graphics, artists performance, fabulous cinematography, the background chosen for the film, well written dialogues, art work, make up are on top gear. In fact the making of this film will be good material for the budding cinema makers.
In the first half, we have Anji (Shivarajakumar) , a well-educated man, coming to meet his sister Alamelu (Shruthi) – a moneylender with cruelty imbibed. In the surroundings, we have the beautiful Bhavana falls flat to Anji. The good nature of Anji receives a sudden jolt when the forest-dwelling demon enters. The village members including Anji, sister Alamelu, Anji lover Bhavana are captured and kept as hostage.
The second half narration concentrates on the Ayurveda medicine, how Bhajarangi tames the people of the villagers to get into the natural abundance to treat the people in distress. The huge nature gift the forest people make use and this is the major source of revenue. That does not stop at this age. The wants of the forest people who are experts in Ayurveda put them in trouble. Before that Bhajarangi takes on Araka the demon and releases the people in captivity. This is not tolerated by Araka`s son Jagrava. He comes to take revenge when everything is in fine condition because Bhajarangi plans and procedures.
When Bhajarangi is defeated by foul means, it is the Brahma Gnana of Sudheendra (Loki) who comes to help temporarily.
`Namagaagi Ellaru, Ellarigaagi Naavu`, Manushya Chiranjeevi Sadhyavilla, Vyakthi alla Vyakthitwa Mukhya` – When the dialogue of Bhajarangi says `Nanna Kalisikodu Sudheendra` – the shocking news of power star Puneeth Rajakumar leaving for heaven reached the media in the morning show.
The first half Dr Shiv is lively and in the second half, he is serene and dashing too. The responsibility is very well carried out by Karunada Chakravarthy Dr Shivarajakumar.
From the costumes and dialogues Shruthi has given her best performance. Bhavana Menon also looks grand and refreshing from the new outlook designed for her.
The three who grab major attention are Cheluvaraju, Prasanna and Girish – Jagrava, Araka and Guruji – they have abilities to reach any part of the Indian industry.
Kudos to Swamy Gowda for his excellence in camera, Arjun Janya provides the right tunes at right time capturing more on his background score.
A HARSHA – has set new boundaries for his next venture. In fact, the quality and standards he has set in `Bhajarangi 2` and makes his own coming films tougher.
A film that gives new experience is fine for the family audience. Watch this one without fail.
